Arrow Lakes Environmental Stewardship Society (ALESS)

To protect the biological diversity and integrity of the Arrow Lakes watersheds through observation, education, monitoring, sampling and co-ordination of community group action. Currently the society is involved with local water quality monitoring, assisting Know Your Watershed program for Grade 8 students and assisting the Invasive Weed Council with interpretive signage at boat launches focusing on invasive aquatic species.
