Youth Leadership Opportunities
Opportunities taking place inside the Columbia Basin:
7 of exciting outdoor activities, leadership skills training, backcountry exploration for 15-18 year olds. You will receive hands-on training through a three-day wilderness expedition where you and your team must work together to plan, pack, cook and navigate your way through the backcountry.
During this seven-day wilderness adventure for 14-18 year olds, participants will develop outdoor survival and leadership skills, work with your team to navigate the back country, survive the elements and test your new skills on an off-site winter camping trip.
Participants ages 13-16 learn outdoor survival skills at the Tipi Camp Nature Retreat in the Purcell mountains, working cooperatively to ensure a safe, rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Opportunities taking place outside of the Columbia Basin:
The GreenPAC Parliamentary Internship for the Environment, with support from the Sustainability Network, offers young leaders (aged 18-30) the chance to gain invaluable training and experience from Canada’s top environmental champions on Parliament Hill.
