Water Stewardship Assistant – Lake Windermere Ambassadors

Compensation: $18/hour, Approx 35 hours a week
Location: Columbia Valley, BC
Eligibility: This position is dependent on program funding. As such, all applicants must be between the age of 15-30, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and legally entitled to work in Canada.

The Water Stewardship Assistant will be an outgoing, adventurous youth (15 to 30) who is passionate about the environment and is looking forward to a summer spent working outdoors. Their main roles are to provide support to our water quality and quantity monitoring program and offer public stewardship education about Lake Windermere and the Columbia River Basin.
