Community Investment Program

BC Hydro offers two types of grants to support non-profit organizations and registered charities that are making a difference in their communities. Broad Impact grants of up to $10,000 are available for organizations that wish to expand an existing program’s reach or to develop a new program across multiple communities. Grants of up to $2,000 are available for local community-based programs. Grants are given to three focus areas: building the workforce of tomorrow, safety education and developing smart energy ideas.
