About the Program
The I.D.E.A.L. Society Tour presentation is a full day discovery of the farm which includes the animals (chickens, goats, doves, bees, pony etc) and the gardens (the green houses, the berry patches and vegetable garden) at I.D.E.A.L. Society.

According to the age group we share various ideas about:
-the value of connecting with nature and honouring all its richness
-the value of care for animals and how to respond to their needs
-the value of seeing ourselves as part of something bigger

"The facilitators at the Ideal Ranch were very organized, visited us at our school the week before as an intro, prepared to work with the teachers needs and great with students" - Kelly Henderson
"I have done this field trip several times, and it has been excellent, every year. I would highly recommend it for students of all ages." - Tanya Stang
"This was my fourth year visiting the IDEAL Society. It is a highlight of my year and I am never disappointed. There is always so much to do and each year seems to be better than the last. This year we have seen a change in leadership and Cristallin did a great job. I found the initial booking a long and complicated process; however, I am hoping that everything has been sorted out and that next year will be easier. Great job Cristallin! " - Jane Fraser
"There were four excellent activities. The educators where enthusiastic, personable and well-rounded." - Sandra Wales
"Students enjoyed the day!" - Stacey Nohels
"This was our favourite field trip of the year, as always!" - Tanya Stang
"We have always enjoyed the I.D.E.A.L. Society Tour. This year, there seemed to be fewer people involved. I felt that you were perhaps understaffed or less prepared for our visit. Accommodations were made to support our two classes. However, there was a young lady and her mother who were exceptional! Give them both a raise!!!! " - Jane Fraser
"Passionate, kind people, very kind to students." - Tanya Stang
"I can’t say enough about how memorable this day was for our students and our staff. This was a soul filling experience tgat tapped into your senses and engaged our students fully. I will be back next year. There kindness didn’t stop at the end of the day, instead they surprised us all with the gift of a marigold for each of us and saw us off the property. Thank you for such a wonderful day!!" - Kelly Henderson
"All the presenters were friendly and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. " - Valerie Greenlee
"We love this field trip. We would appreciate hearing/using more French in the future, even though it's hard for students!" - Tanya Stang
"Zoya did an excellent job helping my group. She was caring, helpful and knowledgeable. " - Sarah Finch
