Wildsight – SD20 Environmental Educator
Are you passionate about teaching ecological literacy, nature connection, sustainability and environmental stewardship? Wildsight is seeking an educator to join our team and deliver the following programs: Winter Wonder, Classroom with Outdoors, Beyond Recycling and Watershed Matters in the Castlegar/Trail/Rossland area.
About Wildsight Education:
Wildsight has been delivering environmental education programs in schools throughout the Columbia Basin for 25 years. You will join our team of 12 environmental educators delivering programs to kids throughout the Columbia Basin, inspiring a stewardship ethic.

About the Position
This is a part-time, contract position. It requires a commitment of 1 day/week to deliver Beyond Recycling between October-May, as well as up to 20 half- and full-days delivering other programs in spring and fall.
Experience/Qualifications:

Experience as a teacher or environmental educator

A passion for the environment and sustainability

Selected candidates must undergo a criminal record check

Current first aid certification (Minimum Standard First Aid & CPR)
