A Workshop for Educators
CBEEN is pleased to be partnering with BC Parks, KBEE and HCTF Education (WildBC) to offer these workshops across the Canadian Columbia Basin!
In the midst of COVID-19, there is no better time to take your learning outdoors. Outdoor learning supports academic outcomes, as well as the mental and physical health of both educators and students.
This engaging βGet Outdoorsβ workshop will model how to undertake outdoor activities in the Get Outdoors Educator Handbook to help support manageable and successful outdoor classroom experiences, with plenty of activities that can be adapted to supporting physical distancing.
All participants will receive a complimentary copy of the βGet Outdoorsβ educator handbook, which includes:
- Outdoor classroom management tips
- Outdoor classroom essentials at little to no cost
- Field Trip Planning sheet
- Lots of amazing activities to activate students from K-12!
- Wonderful activities, detailed information on taking students outside for learning!
Attendees who are CBEEN members (join here) will receive a $50 coupon that they can use towards outdoor learning resources at our new Outdoor Learning Store!
