COMMUNITY EDUCATOR HONORARIA RATES

As a community educator, when you travel to deliver programs, you will be eligible to claim travel, as detailed in the “Community Educator Travel Policy & Rates” document you can view in the button below.

Travel pre-approval from the Wild Voices Program Manager is only required if the CE is travelling beyond the distances set out in the “Community Educator Travel Policy & Rates” document, or in other subsequent written communication by the program manager, and these trips/programs must meet a gap in local programming. To be considered for compensation of travel expenses beyond the distances set out, the CE must submit a written request via email to the Wild Voices Program Manager for pre-approval before the mileage is incurred.

Dependent on pre-approval, some Community Educators travelling long distances to deliver Wild Voices programs may be eligible for long-distance travel expense reimbursement for travel, accommodation, and meals through Science World’s Science and Innovators in the Schools program.

IMPORTANT: Reimbursement through Science World requires pre-approval.
