Analyst – GIS (Lands) – Cranbrook
The GIS Analyst will support the Lands and Resources Sector through coordination and delivery of geospatial support services. This would include maintaining an up-to-date database that details Ktunaxa’s cultural and ecological values across ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa as well as the impacts and resource uses that threaten these values. You have a deep understanding of data and the possibilities and limitations of that it provides in the GIS. Your understanding of cultural and ecological spatial data will allow you to undertake analytical queries with tabular and visual results that will support projects and decision making.
