2025 Leadership Clinic
From April 25-27, we welcomed 52 educators from across the Columbia Basin and beyond to develop plans to support their schools and communities. This is the largest gathering we have had yet and it was exciting to see all the connections being made.
Climate literacy, place-based learning, assessment, Indigenous knowledge and perspectives, reconciliation, mental health, stewardship and sustainability were all central to their discussions and planning.
This Leadership Clinic provided representatives from 14 Local Chapters of EEPSA (BC Environmental Educators Provincial Specialist Association) with the opportunity to take the time to come together to connect, collaborate and plan for ways they can support outdoor and environmental learning in their region.
Some of the incredible feedback we received:
“Thank you for the opportunity to get away to a beautiful place with like-minded educators. The connections made were honest and profound and the sharing was valuable.”
“I loved the Nipika weekend and format. You kept us busy but in a fulfilling way.”
“The event was very well organized and provided an incredible opportunity to meet and collaborate with like minded people from around the province! I left feeling inspired and excited to take on new activities with my students and in my school.”
These local chapters were supported at the leadership clinic by organizations such as CBEEN, KBEE, EEPSA, Take Me Outside, Classrooms to Communities (C2C) and the Outdoor Learning School and Store.
