About the Program
Our food has far reaching impacts on the earth and our communities. Drawing examples and inspiration from Kootenay Meadows Organic Dairy Farm, Swan Valley Honey, and surrounding pastures, creeks and ponds, Nadine will explore how humans, our food and the environment are interconnected.
About the Community Educator
Nadine was raised in the Creston Valley on the Kootenay Meadows Farm. Her lifelong passion for local food and organic farming has led her to Nelson, where she works as the Kootenay Co-op's True Local Coordinator: supporting both local suppliers and a local market for sustainable food production.
