For the 2020/2021 school year this program will be offered as one hour interactive session about climate change and climate solutions delivered over Zoom.
About the Program
Climate Savvy aims to increase students' overall climate literacy in a fun, integrated and inspiring manner, weaving together climate science, social studies, economics, human psychology and more. This program offers a well-facilitated space where students can begin to situate themselves more consciously in the opportunities to be part of the solutions. Drawing on local and Columbia basin data and information, the session will emphasize a place-based inquiry wherever possible, allowing students to make learning connections for themselves.
