About the Program
What do sustainable homes and communities look like? What are ways we can be more sustainable in our own lives? Take a trip around the world through the lens of sustainability principles!

In this workshop we will look at sustainability principles derived from ecosystems, and how they can be applied to our lives and built environments.  We will look at water harvesting, rocket stoves, natural building, waste management, community organization and food production from the Kootenays, urban, rural, tropical, temperate and arid environments. We will learn how to apply these principles in our own lives.
