At the present time, we are no longer distributing complimentary programs for new members, however, all programs are available for booking at the subsidized rates listed.

About the Program
This presentation is an introduction to traditional Metis Jigging. Students will learn the basic steps of the Metis Jig, followed by the Red River Jig the traditional and most popular dance of the Metis people. In addition the students will learn the Heel and Toe Polka. During the lesson the students are introduced to Metis culture and history. The program is usually 1 hour in duration: for more in-depth learning on Metis Jigging, a 2 hour program is also available.
