About the Program
Students will actively participate in learning Mother Nature's million year old phenomena, the Soil Food Web.  They will experience first hand how delicate, inter-related and dependent this Web is to our existence here on earth.  Students will get a chance to see how inorganic chemical fertilizers, and herbicides affect plants and how this process differs from how the natural process of biology works. They will leave having a new appreciation for the value of healthy soil using worm castings.  Susan makes this complicated subject fun and easy to learn!

About the Community Educator
Susan has been an avid worm composter for more than 10 years and has a passion for teaching about the benefits of using composting worms for our food supply, helping with waste management systems, and enhancing our environment!
