Teachers who are CBEEN members are entitled to one complimentary Wild Voices program each year. As funding permits, up to $250 in bussing costs will be covered for each complimentary program. Once a CBEEN member has redeemed their complimentary program, they may book unlimited programs at the subsidized rate. We are unable to cover bussing costs for subsidized programs at this time.

Introductory avalanche skills half-day field trip with hands-on snow science, avalanche terrain identification, and safety gear practice activities. Youth-oriented activities to help students understand avalanche risk, learn about and practice with avalanche risk, learn about and practice with avalanche safety gear and learn about avalanches and where to get information to help them make safer decisions about whether to venture into the back country or not.
Dave Quinn is a wildlife biologist, a BC-certified teacher and a certified wilderness guide who has lead expeditions in the Kootenays, the Canadian Arctic and West Coast, as well as overseas. Dave's work as a photographer and writer has been published in several adventure tourism magazines and scientific publications. As a wildlife technician, Dave has worked on the Purcell Mountain Caribou Study, the Rocky Mountain Lynx Project, the Columbia Valley Badger Project, the Swift Fox Census, and the East Kootenay Fisher Project.
